“She Will Be Loved”
Beauty queen of only eighteen
She had some trouble with herself
He was always there to help her
She always belonged to someone else

I drove for miles and miles and wound up at your door
I’ve had you so many times but somehow I want more

I don’t mind spending every day
Out on your corner in the pouring rain
Look for the girl with the broken smile
Ask her if she wants to stay awhile
And she will be loved
And she will be loved

Tap on my window, knock on my door
I want to make you feel beautiful
I know I tend to get so insecure
It doesn’t matter anymore

It’s not always rainbows and butterflies
It’s compromise that moves us along, yeah
My heart is full and my door’s always open
You come anytime you want, yeah.

I don’t mind spending every day
Out on your corner in the pouring rain
Look for the girl with the broken smile
Ask her if she wants to stay awhile
And she will be loved
And she will be loved
And she will be loved
And she will be loved

I know where you hide alone in your car
Know all of the things that make you who you are
I know that goodbye means nothing at all
Comes back and begs me to catch her every time she falls

Tap on my window knock on my door
I want to make you feel beautiful

I don’t mind spending every day
Out on your corner in the pouring rain, oh.
Look for the girl with the broken smile
Ask her if she wants to stay awhile
And she will be loved
And she will be loved
And she will be loved
And she will be loved

[in the background:]
Please don’t try so hard to say goodbye
Please don’t try so hard to say goodbye

Yeah, yeah.

I don’t mind spending every day
Out on your corner in the pouring rain

Please don’t try so hard to say goodbye

Everyone would agree that education is a fundamental way of life. A means to learn something new. It’s intention is to mentally, physically, and emotionally benefit the person by putting them in a better place then they were previously in before. From the beginning of times people have relied and survived on past educators. There are many people that contribute to a individuals education. Starting off as a young child most of the information retrieved comes from home through parents, and loved ones. As they move into adolescents learning is obtained from multiple people including teachers, friends, and even through their surroundings. An ideal education promotes knowledge while incorporating valuable information that can be used to help in everyday life.

“-Education is the process of acquiring knowledge.” True education comes in many different forms. Granted it is important to study the basic academic courses including reading, writing, arithmetic, science, and social studies which all will help set a strong foundation for the student. It is equally just as significant that the educator offer alternative information for the well-being of the student. Education should build not only on the text that lies within a book, but should also touch base with everyday life.

The Colosseum – Rome, Italy (1930 years)

13. The Colosseum

Construction of the Great Coloseum (originally called the Flavian Amphitheatre) started in 70 AD under the Emperor Vespasian. It was finally finished in 80 AD and inaugurated by Vespasian’s son Titus. During the Inaugural Games over 9,000 animals were slaughtered to underline the importance of Rome and the grandeur of the largest amphitheatre ever built in the Empire. The structure wasn’t always used as an amphitheatre though, since in the 12th century it was fully fortified by the Frangipani family who used it as a castle. Although it still stands proudly in Rome as the top tourist attraction of the city, it suffered massive damage and nowadays only one fully built side is still standing.

Fantastic Holiday at Yogyakarta

On holiday , I went to Yogyakarta with my family. My father drove the car. My mother sat beside him. My sister and I sat in the back seats.

We woke up early in the morning. My father prepared the car in the garage while mother was preparing food for breakfast and some snacks for us. My sister and I packed some clothes. After everything got ready and we had our breakfast, we left the house at six o’clock.

It was about nine A.M. We arrived at Yogyakarta. First of all we visited our uncle. We stayed there for an hour. Then we went to Parangtritis beach. We got there at eleven o’clock. There were a lot of tourists because it was holiday. I saw many foreign visitors too. My parents watched us playing with sand in the beach. We did not swim and take a bath since the wave was rough. After having lunch, we went on our picnic to the museum and Malioboro shopping centre.

We drove back to Bandung at 7 o’clock and arrived home at ten. We were tired but happy.

The Rabbit and the Turtle

One day a rabbit was boasting about how fast he could run. He was laughing at the turtle for being so slow. Much to the rabbit’s surprise, the turtle challenged him to a race. The rabbit thought this was a good joke and accepted the challenge. The fox was to be the umpire of the race. As the race began, the rabbit raced way ahead of the turtle, just like everyone thought.

The rabbit got to the halfway point and could not see the turtle anywhere. He was hot and tired and decided to stop and take a short nap. Even if the turtle passed him, he would be able to race to the finish line ahead of him. All this time the turtle kept walking step by step by step. He never quit no matter how hot or tired he got. He just kept going.

However, the rabbit slept longer than he had thought and woke up. He could not see the turtle anywhere! He went at full-speed to the finish line but found the turtle there waiting for him.

Moral: never underestimate the weakest opponent.

Type: Food
Location: Jalan Trunojoyo
Price: IDR 3,000 – IDR 30,000

One thing you shouldn’t miss in Bandung is Masakan Sunda. There are a few that you can check it out such as Mak Uneh, Ampera, or Sindang Reret. But Sambara is my choice.

It’s not as low as in term of price with Ampera but it’s not as high as Sindang Reret. But you can find any kind of Sundanese food from Bakwan Jagung to Semur Jengkol –be careful of this, ok? Will be addicted and it will leave you with bad side effect if consumed not in a proper portion. F.A.T haha

I am a big fan of Bakwan Jagung –made from sweet corn— and Paru Goreng –cow’s lung—, so I always take these two kinds of food every time I eat there. The sambal are great also, there are four kind of sambal you can choose from.

All food are halal ones. And one good thing for me, Sambara also has a branch in Jakarta.

My Friend

My Friend Azhar

I have a friend in my English extra class. He is actually not only my friend from the English extra class but we are in the same school class too. His name is Azhar, Muhammad Naufal Azhar. He was born at Cirebon, 30th of November, year 2000. He is a pretty nice guy. We meet really often everyday because we are in the same class, which is class 10-1. He is quite a religious guy. He usually goes to the mosque to pray right when the muazzin’s call is heard.

He is around 164.8 centimeters tall, his weight is around 55 kilograms. He has a curly hair. He doesn’t have a favourite color, but he says it depends on the situation. His favourite sport is badminton but he likes other sports too. In class he is a quiet guy, but when he is with his friends he is not very quiet.

He likes to draw stuffs, and he also likes to do image editing on computers. I first met him when it was the student adaptation program by the school when we first entered SMAN 3 Bandung. It was when we were grouped together for a task by the boy scouts.

The task was to search for text parts that is spreaded in the school area. Each group have to find a different text and because we were in one group we had to remember each other’s name (it’s a task too) and after I remembered his name I actually remembered it until I realize that we are in a same class.

At the first days we didn’t really get along well right away since we only knew each other’s name from the boy scouts task group. But when we actually get to know each other, we get along quite well because some of our hobbies are the same.

Today, We’re gonna post about Tempe. Why? Because we’ve got some task to do in our biology class. Our project of this task is to find out how much impact of a ferment as a tempeh starter in the making of Tempe.

All of you must be already knew about Tempe right? A traditional food that contains a lot of nutrition. It really is a healthy food. Tempe or Tempeh is usually known as a famous healthy food in java of indonesia. It made by a fermentation of soy bean. To make a tempeh all you need are a bunch of soy bean, a tempeh starter, and a leave or plastic to cover up the tempe.

All you have to do for making a tempe at home are:
1. First, prepare all of the things that needed.
2. Second, soak the soybeans
3. Next, clean the soybean and make sure that the skin are off of it.
4. After that, boil them until  the soybeans become a little bit softer.
5. Make sure that the soybeans are dry.
6. Sprinkle all the yeast or ferment all over the soybeans. Make sure it spread evenly.
7. Take the plastic or the banana leaves and then enter the soybeans. You can set the size of its thickness.
8. After that all you have to do is do a fermentation to the soybeans for 2 days at a room temperature. Make sure that u the soybeans are in the close state.
9. Finally, after the fermentation you can enjoy your own making Tempeh.

It really easy to do right? Well, even it takes a lot of time to do but its worth it for the taste. Tempeh is one of my favourite food too.

To make this project we started from today because the deadline of the task is really close. So this is what we did today,

We were peeled all the soybeans to make sure that the soybeans are clean. It took some efforts to do becaue we cleaned the soybeans by our hands and we were having a lot of soybeans. But because of this project, unfortunately we can’t attend one of our additional class. We were really sorry for that:(
